Bucharest, September 2023 – BSS celebrates two decades of dedicated activity in the Facility Management industry, marking a significant milestone in its history. Founded in 2003, the company has evolved dynamically, becoming a reference company on the Romanian market and recognized for the quality of its services. For over 8 years, BSS has been listed among the three most important names in the national Facility Management sector.

Over the past 20 years, BSS has achieved a number of notable milestones, demonstrating its commitment to development and excellence. In 2006, BSS successfully managed 1 million square feet in 11 various locations, including office, retail, industrial-logistic and residential spaces. Also in the same year, strategic partnerships were strengthened by the entry of FIDEN and the Austrian REIWAG Group into the BSS shareholding.

Two years later, the company portfolio increased to 1.5 million square metres, comprising 20 locations in various sectors. The year 2015 marked the transition to full subsidiary status of the REIWAG Group, thus strengthening our market position. By the end of the same year, the BSS portfolio had reached 2.9 million square metres, comprising more than 300 buildings with various functionalities.

In 2022, the first post-pandemic year, Building Support Services (BSS) achieved another notable performance, managing 3.6 million square metres in over 350 buildings, including office, industrial, logistics and commercial space.

Another key factor in this remarkable development has been the company team of 750 dedicated employees.
